Authorities and community members are searching for 18-year-old Samaya Stephenson, a young woman with autism.
Samaya was last seen in the Bronx after leaving with two individuals.
Stephenson was reportedly last seen in Queens, New York, in the company of 18-year-old Kash and 21-year-old Lloyd.
According to her mother, her last known location was on Prospect Avenue in the Bronx near the 2 train line.
A video posted by the advocacy group Protect Our Children urges the public to spread awareness about Stephenson’s disappearance and assist in bringing her home safely.
The video has been widely shared, with a plea for information leading to her whereabouts.
“If anybody has any information, please contact the 106th Precinct and speak with Detective Cahill at 718-845-2211 or reach out to her family at 646-668-1261,” the message states.
The public is encouraged to repost and share the alert across social media to help locate Stephenson.
