Yung Miami’s character statement supporting Sean “Diddy” Combs was leaked, sparking a divided reaction among fans.

In her letter, which was submitted to New York judge Arun Subramanian ahead of Diddy’s sentencing, Yung Miami, whose real name is Caresha Brownlee, offers a different perspective on Diddy, who is currently facing serious allegations. She states that, while she can’t comment on his past before they met, her views are shaped by four years of personal experience with him.

“For three of those years, I was in a public relationship with Sean,” she shared. “Behind the scenes, he was loving, genuine, supportive, and always encouraging. He motivated me, believed in me, and helped me grow both personally and professionally.”

Miami also recounted significant moments that influenced her view of Diddy, such as her first introduction to the Met Gala through him, which she described as a transformative experience. She recalled their efforts together to feed the homeless during Thanksgiving, highlighting it as a clear example of his generosity.

In her letter, Yung Miami emphasized that Diddy is “not a danger or a threat to the community.” She pointed out his choice to pursue therapy and anger management as evidence of his commitment to self-improvement. To her, Diddy represented much more than just a hip-hop mogul. He was someone who helped her balance her ambitions with her family commitments.

She concluded her message with a powerful statement that quickly gained widespread online attention. She described Diddy as “a good man.”

Once the letter became public, reactions poured in. Some praised Yung Miami for standing by someone she clearly cares about, while others took issue with her apparent disregard for the serious allegations against him.
