K Michelle says she doesn’t want black hip-hop culture in her new restaurant, Puff and Petals, in Brookhaven.
So far, with the successful operation of her restaurant in Garden Park, K Michelle has expanded outside Atlanta but expects all her guests to behave.
The former Love & Hip Hop Atlanta castmate is stern about what you can and cannot do in her soon-to-open restaurant. And throwing your clappers around the establishment is a big no!
“Get somewhere to do that at. And, erm, it’s not a space of ignorance, okay? At this point, I’m going to do only reservations so I can control and maintain,” K Michelle began in a video as she toured the new space.
She added, “I don’t care what you say. If you don’t like country music, you gon’ hear it in here. This is for grown and sexy.”
The singer also gave a brief tour, explaining the ongoing renovations.
“You will get to make reservations, I swear, in a couple of weeks. This is our Greenshaw plumbing. It can all be done in two weeks. Ermm… it’s come a long, long way.”

Last year, K Michelle disclosed that she did not want any rowdy behavior at her new business.
“You know you can’t be twerking or chicking. That’s not what I’m doing here. Yeah, it’s like this thing. I don’t understand. Why can’t we have nothing? I don’t want you talking over my chicken. You know what I’m saying,” she continued. “In some places, you can go do that. But this restaurant is very nice. It’s beautiful.”
K Michelle sounded like a proud mother as she spoke about her new business venture.
“Okay, so Puff And Petals. I saw that two weeks before COVID-19, the new one is in Brookhaven. It is 5,000 sqft. It’s gorgeous.
“It’s about to open, and I just do a lot of food cuisines from different places. And it’s creative. I’m excited about this one. It’s like the biggest one for me,” she happily added.
