“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Gizelle Bryant isn’t even on the same show as New York Housewife Ramona Singer — but there is still plenty of friction between them.
During a guest appearance on the “Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef,” Gizelle made it clear that her feud with Ramona is alive and well.
Gizelle discussed the current backlash the show is receiving. Many are blaming Eboni K. Williams and Leah McSweeney for the show’s sudden “wokeness” — which they say has led to a steep decline in ratings.
“I get it. People tune into Housewives to forget that the world is jacked up or that the world is racist or that the world is going through turmoil,” she shared. “It’s an escape, and Housewives is entertainment, so I understand that perspective for sure.”
Gizelle then added, “And you didn’t ask me one question about that Ramona,” she asserted. She then added, “Everybody’s clear… I hate her! The end!”
In 2019, Gizelle and another Bravo star were standing together at an event in the Hamptons, getting ready to take a picture. Ramona then turned to Kristen Taekman and invited her into the photo but then asked Gizelle “if she minds” before gently shoving her out of the frame.
“She was like, ‘Oh my gosh I don’t know, I just came from yoga, I was all zenned out and I was just confused.” Gizelle told SiriusXM host Jenny Hutt at the time. “Whatever Ramona, ya dead to me.”
One Housewife who Gizelle will likely always be cool with is Robyn Dixon. But many viewers think that Robyn is just a Gizelle “yes (wo)man.”
Gizelle disputes this.
“She’s holding her champagne glass very proudly for six seasons on her own having nothing to do with me. You know, Robyn holds me accountable all day, every day. Whether they air it or not is on Bravo. But she has [held me accountable] on camera plenty of times,” she said.
