Rihanna made an appearance during the final stop of Mariah Carey’s Christmas Time tour at the Barclays Center in New York City on Tuesday, December 17.
Fans experienced an early dose of Christmas at Mariah Carey’s Christmas Time concert in Brooklyn, but it wasn’t solely the festive songs that excited the audience.
It was a remarkable moment between two musical legends. The Queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey, presented Rihanna with a unique autograph during her show at the Barclays Center on Tuesday night.
Mariah concluded her ‘Christmas Time’ tour at Barclays Center with last night’s performance — having canceled several concerts earlier this month due to the flu.
Looking effortlessly chic as always, Rihanna attended the concert and was spotted vibing along to Mariah’s classic ballad “My All.” The energy between the two stars reached a festive peak when Mariah spotted Rihanna, came down from the stage, and made her way into the audience, specifically to where Rihanna was standing excitedly waiting to meet the “All I Want For Christmas” singer.
As she walked backward in her elegant dress to navigate the stage stairs, she quipped, “Doing this while walking backward is a niche feat. I don’t ever want anyone to say I’m a diva.” The crowd roared in laughter, further cementing the holiday spirit that Mariah is known for.
“I need a signature. Who has a Sharpie? Sign my tit!” Rihanna can be heard telling Carey in a video posted to social media.

For Mariah, the moment marked a triumphant return to the stage after battling the flu, proving nothing—flu, stairs, or diva rumors—could stop her from spreading holiday cheer.
As for Rihanna, she keeps enjoying time away from the stage following the birth of her second child late last year.
