After days of growing concern, relief spread across Florida as missing teenage sisters Tyra and Tatianna Lively were found safe in Jacksonville, according to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) and a viral post shared by Brilliant Little Leaders on Instagram.
The update, which quickly circulated on social media, read:
“AMEN, THIS IS WONDERFUL NEWS! FOUND SAFE! Tyra and Tatianna Lively have both been found safe in Jacksonville. Thank you to our community and media members who helped share this information!”

Disappearance Sparked Statewide Concern
Authorities initially issued an urgent appeal for help after the sisters—16-year-old Tyra Lively and 14-year-old Tatianna Lively—were reported missing from their Middleburg, Florida home on Sept. 22.
According to the sheriff’s office, the girls were last seen at their residence on Nolan Road, and investigators believed they may have been picked up by a friend and taken to an unknown location in Jacksonville.
Both the community and media outlets responded swiftly to the search. Family and law enforcement expressed deep concern, explaining that the disappearance should not be dismissed as a “runaway” situation.
Community Support Led to a Safe Return
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office released a public statement thanking the media and community members for sharing information that helped locate the teens.
“The Clay County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the community and the media outlets for their help in locating these two beautiful young ladies,” the agency wrote in its announcement.
Although details surrounding where or how the sisters were found have not yet been disclosed, both are confirmed safe and reunited with their family. The sheriff’s office did not indicate whether any criminal investigation remains open in connection with their disappearance.
Social Media’s Role in Rapid Response
The sisters’ story went viral after being shared by advocacy platforms and community pages such as @brilliantlittleleaders, drawing widespread attention and prayerful support from across Florida and beyond.
This case once again demonstrates the power of social media and public engagement in helping authorities locate missing persons—particularly minors who may be in vulnerable circumstances.
