Tamar Braxton may be regretting her decision to host the reunion of “The Baddies of ATL” following friction with Sidney Starr.
Sidney Starr, who is a transgender female and a member of the LGBTQ+ community, did several things to annoy Tamar — including throwing Lucky Charms on Judy Jai.
“This is like a lot for me. This is a lot. I don’t give a f–k fiery s–t what they’ve done. Its disrespectful and this is beneath me. I cannot do this,” she says to Starr before she walked off.
Tamar continued: “It’s not funny. You know, it’s really disappointing because you know on one hand you talk about being a staple for the LGBTQ community but then you do stupid a– s–t like this, and get up and talk out of turn, and be disrespectful but in turn want people to be respectful toward you. That’s a lot for me. Now I feel disrespected.”
Just weeks back, Tamar defended her decision to host the show.
“I decided to host this show because I have been watching these ladies since I was young,” the singer said. “I also wanted to be a part of an adult, agree to disagree conversations and show my growth and truth by showing the ladies a positive, different resolve. I respect all of the ladies. They are all so beautiful and smart.”
Tamar tweeted, “@SidneyStarrBad did waaaayyy to much. I was extremely frustrated because like myself when I used to act a fool, to me, She’s better than that.”
It seems Starr agrees with Tamar’s assessment of her bad behavior:
“Ms @TamarBraxtonHer got me right together Face with tears of joyFace with tears of joy Did y’all watch the Baddies reunion today on the Zeus Network part 1,” she tweeted in response.
And Tamar is right. Starr has often talked about her desire to be respected in the industry. This isn’t the way to go about it.
