Tamera Mowry-Housley has shared a hilarious story about the time she first began dating her now-husband, Adam Housley.
Mowry-Housley says that in the early stages of dating her husband, he ran his fingers through her hair, but his fingers got caught in the tracks.
“Then there was the time I remember when we started dating. I had a weft in my hair. For those who don’t know what that means, that is like tracks. And you know when you’re like making out and you’re really, really into it. I remember at one point, he was so sweet, he just stopped. He didn’t say anything because I don’t think he wanted to hurt my feelings. He just didn’t understand. I said, ‘Oh baby, that’s okay. That’s a weft. Just keep on going,'” she shared with her The Real co-hosts.
Her husband is white and the actress often opens up about her experiences of being in an interracial relationship.
The Sister Sister actress explained that her husband understands the differences between his culture and hers, and is always eager to be educated further.
Mowry-Housley continued, “He’s always open to learning. And on his side, I learned about wine…you know, the wine culture.”
In January, her twin sister, Tia Mowry-Hardrict shut down reports that a Sister Sister reboot was underway.
“I hate to say it, but it’s kind of dead,” Mowry-Hardrict said at the time. “Nothing’s going on right now, but that doesn’t mean that it’s not going to happen at all. Never say never. I really believe that my sister and I, we will be doing a project together. We just don’t know what it is right now or what it’ll be. But I know that there will be a moment in time.”
