Tarana Burke, the powerful and compassionate founder of the Me Too Movement (#MeTooMVMT) was named among the TIME 100 Most Influential People, garnering her own cover of the magazine. Black Twitter hasn’t forgotten that the 2017 TIME Person of The Year was inexplicably missing from that issue’s cover, and neither has the Universe. Burke not only covers TIME this week, but her Variety Cover is also on stands as well, following her stunning HANNAH journal cover and spread, which can be ordered here (hannahmag.com). Essence Magazine also named her among the 2018 Woke 100 in their latest issue, with Kerry Washington gracing the cover. Tarana’s crown just keeps shining!
