Tia Kemp was fired up after rapper Akbar V made a controversial statement about Kemp’s career trajectory, saying Kemp was famous only because she was Rick Ross’s baby mama.

The now reality TV star expressed her displeasure with Akbar V’s comments. The feud began when Akbar V claimed Kemp’s only claim to fame was her relationship with rapper Rick Ross.

The “Aunt-Tea” podcast’s latest episode featured Akbar V. Once the rapper sat on the couch, everyone knew this would result in a messy episode.

The clip begins with Tia Kemp and Akbar furiously exchanging words after Akbar claims that Kemp would be nothing without Rick Ross.

“You wouldn’t be this person in the limelight if you weren’t attached to Rick Ross,” Akbar started the fight.

Tia quickly said, “I’m not here right now because of him. It’s because of God. And we’re going back to church right now.”

“Listen, I did not know you because every time I see her, I’m like, I f**k with her. I’m not going to apologize because I met her when she was going in on her baby daddy. That’s how I knew her. So I said what I said,” Akbar refused to take back her words.

To which Tia gave a “Girl, I’ve been on the map. You better go and ask Dade County.”

Fans quickly took sides in the feud, some backing Kemp’s position and others siding with Akbar V’s blunt assessment.

Kemp’s fans rallied behind her, expressing overwhelming support and dismissing Akbar V’s comments as false.

“Honestly, we wouldn’t know who any of them are if it weren’t for them being connected to someone else, lol,” a fan pointed out.

Another added, “They all had a famous person make them any relevant. She keeps it real. It hurts sometimes.”

“I disagree because she has been Rick Ross’s Baby mom for a long time, and no one knew who she was until she got on social media and oh boy song over,” another wrote.
