Tiffany Hardish’s estranged friend, Trizah Morris, has promised to give the actress a defamation showdown in court.
The actress faces another storm as Trizah Morris vows to expose how the actress forced her to sign an NDA while slandering her name.
In September 2022, Triszah Morris sued her friend, Tiffany Hardish, and co-defendant Aries Spears for grooming and molesting her children, a 14-year-old girl and her 7-year-old brother, almost a decade ago.
Although Haddish did not comment, her lawyer, Andrew Brettler had a lot to say.
“Plaintiff’s mother, Trizah Morris, has been trying to assert these bogus claims against Ms. Haddish for several years. Every attorney who has initially taken on her case, and there were several, ultimately dropped the matter once it became clear that the claims were meritless and Ms. Haddish would not be shaken down,” Hardish’s lawyer said in a statement to Deadline.
After settling Morri’s children in that sexual abuse lawsuit privately, Morris is back again with another suit.
This time, Trizah Morris claims the two comedians ( Tiffany Hardish and Aries Spears) defamed her publicly by saying that she was trying to extort the two of them.
In her new suit, Tiffany Hardish’s former friend says she suffered personally, academically, professionally, and financially due to the comedians defaming her.
Fortunately, for the “Girl’s Trip” star, a judge ruled against Trizah Morri’s attempt to keep her defamation lawsuit from being heard in arbitration.
Reportedly, Morris initially expressed concern over the matter. However, she recently shared that she is more than ready as she has had a better understanding of the process.
“I wasn’t concerned about the case being out of the public eye because I am not personally interested in any exposure…I was more concerned about the arbitration because I didn’t understand the process. Now that I know how it works, I look forward to presenting concrete evidence of how my daughter and I were bullied into signing the agreement and how she lied about being extorted,” she shared in a statement.
Trizah Morris vows she is looking forward to “exposing how evil and desperate for fame Tiffany really is” in court.
