Actress and entrepreneur Tracee Ellis Ross is the latest celebrity targeted in a string of high-profile Los Angeles home burglaries.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, three burglars broke into her residence shortly after midnight on Tuesday, Sept. 2, making off with more than $100,000 worth of jewelry and handbags.
Police say the suspects gained entry through a glass door at approximately 12:30 a.m. Ross, 52, was not at home when the burglary occurred. The break-in was discovered by staff members who arrived later and found the property ransacked.
Authorities confirmed they obtained home security footage as part of the ongoing investigation, though no arrests have been announced.
Part of a Growing Trend
The burglary underscores a troubling rise in celebrity home invasions across Los Angeles this year. Just months earlier, Brad Pitt’s Los Feliz residence was broken into while he was out of town. According to police, three suspects entered through a window and fled with stolen items.
On Valentine’s Day, burglars also targeted Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s home, smashing a glass door or window before ransacking the property.
These incidents highlight ongoing concerns about celebrity security in Los Angeles, where wealthy neighborhoods have become prime targets for organized burglary crews.

Ross, known for her starring roles in Black-ish and Girlfriends as well as her beauty brand Pattern, has not issued a public statement regarding the incident.
Police are urging anyone with information about the burglary to come forward as investigations continue.
