Chrisean Rock’s latest move has the internet in a frenzy after a viral video shows the reality star preaching and dancing during a church service, just weeks after she announced her transition into a man.
A video circulating on social media shows the 24-year-old reality star, now identifying as Christopher Rock, preaching barefoot in front of a congregation. Dressed in a matching white Nike tracksuit with what appeared to be a shiny tiara or headband on her head, Chrisean stood behind the podium, gripping a microphone, and spoke passionately to the church.
Another clip shows her dancing energetically in the service, moving freely as the choir sang.
But not everyone was impressed. After The Shade Room shared the video, the comment section quickly turned into a debate. Many Christians accused the pastor of letting “anybody into the pulpit.”
One critic wrote:
“The Pastor wrong, letting her get in the pulpit playing. Yes, you read a scripture, but this is too far. Y’all play with God too much for me. Smh.”
Another added:
“Who is letting her play in their church, man?”
Others, however, defended her efforts.
“Y’all gotta stop judging her. Ain’t nobody perfect. We all make bad decisions. All you can do is try to do better, and that’s what she’s doing. I’m proud of Chrisean. God bless her.”
The backlash comes just weeks after Chrisean shocked fans by announcing that she was transitioning and taking the name Christopher Rock. The revelation followed her public declaration of embracing Christianity earlier this year, when she said she was leaving her chaotic, secular lifestyle behind for a spiritual journey.
