Megan Thee Stallion has been busy taking over the world— but real Hotties know that she’s been quietly working on her degree as well as winning Grammys, landing colossal endorsement deals and dominating music festivals.
The 26-year-old has been pursuing her degree in Health Administration at Texas Southern University.
“I’ll be graduating from my HBCU TEXAS SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY this Saturday!!” Meg wrote. “I want y’all to remember that you can do whatever you wanna do and be whoever you wanna be, cause look at me!”
And the Hotties went crazy. Nearly 200,000 people tuned in to see the rapper graduate, whose bejeweled graduation cap reads, “decorated her cap with the phrase “Real hot girl sh–t.”

In her March 2021 cover interview with Harper’s BAZAAR, Megan said that her determination to graduate was inspired by the women in her family, specifically her late mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
“Before my mom passed, she really would be on my butt about getting my degree,” she said. Meg said her great-grandmother would always ask “You are going to get them papers?”
Megan also wanted to make her mother proud. Holly Thomas, died in March 2019 following a battle with brain cancer.
And while her rise to fame has been filled with many a fan moment, the “Hot Girl Summer” rapper has been looking forward to her post-college celebrations.
“I cannot wait. I’m going to have the biggest graduation party,” she said. “You fought through the procrastination. You fought through crazy professors. You made it home the next day from the party and still went to class. You know what I’m saying?”
