Just yesterday, we posted Jhene Aiko‘s short film Trip and mentioned her forthcoming album of the same name. Well, here it is! Jhené Aiko has surprised us all by dropping the new album today! The 22-track album boasts features guests including Big Sean, Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd, R&B songstress, Brandy and emcee, Kurupt.

A piece via her Soundcloud called MAP Mission. On the clip, Aiko reveals her ongoing battle to cope with the loss of her brother. Since his death in 2012, she’s been documenting her feelings around her loss, and Map Misson is an accumulation of these feelings:
“I try to get closer to my brother by doing different drugs, hoping that if I get high enough I can reach him, but they only take me further away… I try to get closer to my brother by doing different drugs, hoping that if I get high enough I can reach him, but they only take me further away.
