National No Bra Day is marked on Oct. 13 each year to promote breast cancer awareness and to encourage women to go braless for a day.
It is believed National No Bra Day emerged as an unofficial holiday that coincided with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is celebrated every October.
Now here are the five moments in history where women of color went all out and beyond expectations with their braless ideas.
Lil’ Kim’s one-of-a-kind purple jumpsuit
