It seriously feels as though Aliya Janell goes viral every week.
Her dance class “Queen N’ Lettos” delivers some of the most on-trend, cutting-edge choreography on the web and also puts many of us on to the hottest tracks out.
Janell currently boasts over 900K and has earned her reposts and props from the likes of Nicki Minaj (for her “Itty Bitty Piggy” video), Chris Brown, (she starred in his “Questions” music video and Tank. Her cover of Tank’s “When We” went viral and has almost racked up a whopping eight million views Youtube alone and earned her a spot beside him during the 2017 Soul Train Awards.
She can handle the pressure of her catapult into the spotlight, telling Rolling Out:
“It totally does but only for a second. Honestly, when I got reposted by Chris Brown and Jason Derulo the first time it was literally just me being me and not having the pressure of making this bomb a** routine for people to drool over and repost. My form of pressure is my students loving what they’re dancing to and enjoying the combo and less of “Oh! I hope Chris Brown see’s this.” There’s really no pressure anymore as far as Nicki Minaj posting or other celebrities. I’m more concerned with Queens N’ Lettos as a whole. I’m still super grateful for celebrities posting my work.”
