It’s official: Rada Darling and Comedian Michael Blackson have decided to call it quits, and this time it seems there’s no turning back.
The news hit social media when Michael posted a surprising message on Instagram, revealing that he had a child with another woman while still engaged to Rada, and that he had not long before welcomed their son.
“Two months after Rada gave birth to little Mikey, a female friend I’ve known for over five years also gave birth to my son, King Kweku Blackson,” Michael shared in an October 27th post. “My two boys have brought so much joy to my life, but also caused me to lose my fiancée, Rada.” He expressed regret for not sharing this sooner, saying, “My apologies for waiting so long, but I didn’t know how to do it.”
His revelation quickly went viral, leaving fans in shock, with many wondering if it was just a joke, until Rada delivered her response. And her reaction was unmistakably clear.
“I don’t normally respond, but let’s just agree that was the most pathetic post or apology ever,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “I’m walking in peace, guided by God’s grace. My energy belongs to my 4-month-old son, not to negativity.”
“People always tell me they’re embarrassed for me,” she said. “But when love runs that deep, you stop seeing the man and start seeing the boy who just wanted to be loved – and that’s what breaks you.”
Closing her statement, Rada emphasized her decision to move on: “With that said, I take full accountability for staying in the circus too long. His type was never me because I’m a real woman. This is what happens when you hold a man down 100%.”
