Love is officially in the air for Chantel Everett. The 90 Day Fiancé star is engaged, and the moment feels straight out of a fairytale.
Chantel’s girlfriend, musician Ashley Bowen, proposed on Wednesday, December 17, at Uhuburg, a Renaissance-style castle tucked away in Helen, Georgia. Chantel thought she was heading out for a simple photo and video shoot. Instead, she walked into one of the biggest surprises of her life.
Ashley dropped down on one knee, ring in hand, and took things a step further by debuting an original song she wrote just for the moment, titled “Duet for Juliet.”
“Our love feels like it was written in the stars,” the couple shared. “So romantic, so authentic, so raw. We love that about ourselves. We love that about our love story.” And honestly, it shows.
For fans who’ve followed Chantel’s very public love life, this engagement hits differently. Earlier this year, she came out on 90 Day: Hunt for Love, opening up about her evolving sexuality after sharing a kiss with Ashley that made her rethink everything she thought she knew about herself. She spoke candidly about the confusion, the fear, and the excitement that came with realizing her feelings ran deeper than friendship.
Ashley wasn’t a stranger. She was already part of Chantel’s orbit, connected through Chantel’s brother, which made the transition from friends to partners feel organic rather than forced. What started as curiosity grew into something undeniable.
This new chapter also comes after Chantel’s highly publicized marriage to Pedro Jimeno, which played out on 90 Day Fiancé, Happily Ever After?, and the spinoff The Family Chantel. Their split in 2022 marked the end of an era, but also cleared space for something new with Ashley.
Congratulations to Chantel and Ashley. Love wins!
