Popular content creator and Haitian-American model, Yolanda “Pinky” Gourdet, known online as Miss Classy Beauty, is turning to her supporters for help as she faces a legal battle involving the future of her family home.
In an emotional social media video, Gourdet shared details of a dispute with her half brother that she says could result in the sale of the home she has maintained since their mother’s death.
The influencer, who has built a following through beauty, lifestyle and personal content, described the situation as deeply painful, saying she has largely avoided public drama throughout her career but now feels compelled to speak out.
“I am a very laid-back, calm, cool, out-the-way, stay-in-my-own-lane type of girl,” Gourdet said. “I avoid drama at all costs. But lately something’s been going on behind the scenes that it’s getting too much for me to handle.”

At the heart of the conflict is the home their late mother purchased, which Gourdet says represented the foundation of their family.
Reflecting on her upbringing, she described growing up in a single-parent household alongside her younger half brother.
“When my brother was born, I obviously was there and I’ve been there for him since day one,” she said. “My mom was a single parent to two kids. I was my mom’s right hand.”
Gourdet said she frequently helped care for her brother from a young age and played a significant role in supporting the household over the years.
“I took care of him. He did not take care of me. And that’s facts,” she said.
The creator alleged that tensions escalated after her brother entered a relationship and later became a father. She claimed that despite financial challenges, she continued supporting members of the household while struggling with her own medical issues.
“There’s times where I, because I have my own issue, medical problems, it got hard for me,” Gourdet said. “I obviously was supporting him.”
She also alleged that household conditions deteriorated after her brother’s partner moved into the residence with their child, creating further strain on family relationships.
Although Gourdet did not provide full details about the legal proceedings, she indicated that misinformation and disagreements surrounding the property are now threatening her ability to remain in the home.
The dispute has prompted her to seek financial assistance from supporters to help cover legal expenses as she fights to protect what she views as both her residence and her late mother’s legacy. She has set up a GoFundMe to collect donations to help her legal fight.
Family inheritance and property disputes remain among the most common sources of civil litigation in the United States, particularly when family homes are involved. Such cases often become emotionally charged because they combine financial interests with grief, family history and differing interpretations of a deceased relative’s wishes.
For Gourdet, the conflict appears to represent more than a legal disagreement.
The influencer spoke about the battle as a fight to preserve the family home she says she helped maintain for years while honoring the sacrifices made by her mother, whom she described as the central figure holding their family together.
As the legal process unfolds, Gourdet says she hopes supporters will understand why she has decided to publicly share a chapter of her life that she previously kept private.
