An old video of the couple relaxing at a hotel in Sardinia, Italy, has made its way back to social media, and fans are convinced that Beyoncé was a bit too into the moment.
The footage, which dates back to 2018, shows the Carters lounging under a large straw umbrella, basking in the sunshine. Beyoncé, in a yellow top and with her hair elegantly framing her face, is seen humming and dancing in her chair, clearly caught up in her own groove. Jay-Z is positioned across from her, looking relaxed in a polo shirt, sunglasses, and a backward cap, casually holding what appears to be either his phone or a cigar. Between them, there’s a table with two glasses of wine and a bottle.
What seemed like a tranquil vacation quickly turned into a frenzy on social media. After the video was shared by a blog account, the comments section went wild. One user commented, “She definitely looks high 😭. You can see her eyes through the shades, and Jay-Z is trying to keep things under wraps. This resurfaced clip comes after Timbaland recently shared on The Pivot Podcast that he was under the influence of substances while creating some major hits, including Beyoncé’s “Drunk In Love” featuring Jay-Z. That revelation only intensified fans’ curiosity about the couple’s private lives.
