Blac Chyna has just announced she was awarded a doctoral degree from Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College.
The 35-year-old mother of two said she received the degree in religious liberal arts back in January. “On January 17, 2023, I got my Doctorate of Liberal Arts from Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College,” she wrote in the caption of photo that showed her degree next to a picture of her two children. “Doctor Angela Renee White.”
The news is the latest in the current rebrand the Rob and Chyna star has undertaken in recent months. In one of the latest moves to rebrand her image, she has shared a video of her showing off her newly-half-shaven head.
Then in an Instagram post, she wrote that she is “obsessed with my short hair cuts so I wanna try all the different styles.”
In a recent Forbes interview, the mother of two revealed in a recent interview that she no longer wants to be referred to as “Blac Chyna” but by her birth name: Angela White.
“[My name] was given to me by birth. Mostly, it’s just me getting back to myself because, you know, being in the entertainment field, everybody always calls me like, ‘Hey, Blac Chyna — Chyna.’”
She continued: “Nobody ever really calls me Angela. So sometimes I would forget who I am because it’s always about the brand, brand, brand, but not about the person.”
Shortly thereafter, fans took to Twitter to support White.
“I’m loving the rebrand of blac chyna, she has my support. I’m here for anyone that wants to be a better them. It’s never too late,” one user wrote.
“I feel like blac chyna is having a spiritual awakening and I’m so happy for her .may she receive all the blessings and peace,” wrote another.
