Cantu Launches New Mentorship Program, ‘CantuElevate’

by Yah Yah

Cantu Beauty has teamed up with ’25 Black Women In Beauty’ (25BWB) to launch a new mentorship program titled “CantuElevate.”

CantuElevate was developed to create roadmaps for the success and growth of Black-owned businesses.

Since the beginning of 2020, scores of companies have launched initiatives, channeling money back into the Black community, whose dollars have helped catapult them to success.

25 Black Women in Beauty, an organization dedicated to elevating and celebrating Black female entrepreneurs, executives, and rising stars in beauty, offers an exclusive network enabling intentional network, career placement, and other services.

“There has never been a more important time in history to help Black-owned businesses succeed,” says Dametria Mustin, Vice President of Global Marketing, PDC Brands. “CantuElevate has been crafted to build better business ecosystems to help shape the future of beauty. It’s imperative that our industry support Black entrepreneurs through knowledge-sharing programs, initiatives, and funding efforts.”

CantuElevate will kick off with two virtual workshops hosted by 25BWB and will “tackle integrated marketing, social media management, purchasing, media planning, and eCommerce techniques.”

The first will take place on November 12th and will focus on building a more substantial brand reputation. The second workshop is scheduled for November 19th and will explain how to execute through paid and earned media tactics effectively.

After the workshops have come to a head, three attendees will be chosen to receive a Cantu sponsored marketing campaign plus media to support upcoming marketing efforts and initiatives.
