25-year-old Chloe Bailey explained that the experience inspired her single, “Cheatback,” featuring Future.
Chloe Bailey let it all out in a steamy interview on ‘The Zach Sang Show about how she’s handled cheating partners.
The singer disclosed she had been cheated on a couple of times and doesn’t hesitate to point out that cheating is definitely a dealbreaker for her!
According to the singer, even though the experience was painful, she believes it happened because “maybe it had to happen”.
The “Grown-ish” star disclosed how she suffered through surviving a deadly virus and a heart at the same time.
“I got cheated on, I had COVID, I was all in my head… in my feelings. That’s why I was like (in the song), ‘I was never good enough for you, you said you didn’t believe in monogamy’ and all that stuff,” Chloe detailed.
Earlier this year, Chloe released “CheatBack” on her first solo album, “In Pieces”.
The singer said getting her heartbroken fuelled the inspiration behind the 2023 track.
Additionally, Chloe explained the sneaky tactics she used to catch cheating exes red-handed.
“Not putting away evidence, panties, hair ties… Oh, lash extension on the shower floor that’s not mine,” she shared.
Before logging off the interview, she explained that when someone cheats, it has nothing to do with you but all about them.
“Yeah. It’s not a you thing, it’s a them thing. Any\ time I find out somebody cheats, I move on, and they don’t believe me. I’ll tell them in the beginning, I’m like… ‘You know, we’re imperfect humans, but if you cheat on me, I’m out.’ And they don’t believe me until their number’s blocked.”
Chloe Bailey usually keeps her love life to herself, but walls have ears, and the rumor vine has Gunna, Quavo, or Diggy Simmons as the likely culprits in the cheating episode.
