Megan Thee Stallion recently experienced an emotional breakdown on stage due to a very explicit scandal. Onstage in Tampa, Florida, Megan Thee Stallion, on her Hot Girl Summer tour, fought back tears.
Megan was at the epicenter of yet another celebrity deepfake controversy created by artificial intelligence, released yesterday, June 8. The Grammy Award winner is purportedly featured in an altered online video having sexual intercourse.
The controversy surrounding a fictitious AI-generated sex tape has rocked the “BOA” singer to her very core.
The startling event happened during one of Megan’s incredible live performances. The rapper, who has always emanated courage and strength, was upset and found it difficult to remain composed while performing in front of the crowd.
She was obviously affected negatively by the weight of the unfounded charges from the AI-generated tape.
The rapper appeared emotionally overcome in a fan video from her Saturday night performance at Amalie Arena.
Before launching into her hit song “Cobra,” the 29-year-old Houston native can be seen putting her head down and taking a deep breath to gather herself.
Megan covers her eyes and fans her face with her hand to stop herself from crying, but even as the song begins, she finds it hard to sing the words.
The video, which purportedly shows Megan in a compromising situation, went viral online and incited anger and pity among her followers. The explicit deep fake was created to look unsettlingly realistic using cutting-edge AI technology.
Even though the video seems real, Megan Thee Stallion has attacked the claim and threatened to take legal action against anyone who promoted it as true in a post on X, the former Twitter platform.
“It’s really sick how y’all go out of the way to hurt me when you see me winning. Yall going too far, Fake ass shit. Just know today was your last day playing with me, and I mean it,” the Hotties leader debunked the explicit video.
