Omarosa Manigault-Newman is currently on a promotional tour for her new book, ‘Unhinged: An Insiderās Account of the Trump White House,’ an expose about her time in the White House. Though she has sat down and spoken with Black journalists about the look, none of the interviews have been with an African-American outlet.
Manigault-Newman spoke to The Grioās Natasha Alford during her stay in New York City last week. In the interview, she explains that she took the job in the White House to have a āseat at the tableā for the Black community and claims that she had a blind spot when it came to her former friend and boss, President Donald Trump.
āDid you accomplish what you set out to accomplish for the Black community? Or what did you accomplish?ā Alford asked.
āIn some ways, I came up short,ā Manigault Newman responded.
