Jayda Noble, a guard for the University of California women’s basketball team, is making waves not only on the court but also in the world of custom art.
Known for her energetic defense and three-point shooting, Noble channels her artistic passion into creating unique painted shoes, combining her love for basketball with her creative side.
Between practices and her graduate business studies, Noble spends her spare time perfecting her craft.

She paints shoes for athletes, including Indiana’s Myles Rice, who wore a pair of Spider-Man-themed shoes designed by Noble for his first home game after overcoming cancer treatment.
Noble’s “Jayyycasso” brand, a nod to Picasso, is gaining traction as she personalizes sneakers for teammates, coaches, and top athletes from across the country, such as UConn’s Paige Bueckers and TCU’s Hailey Van Lith.

Noble’s custom creations are not only artistic expressions but therapeutic escapes.
“It’s my me time all wrapped into one,” she explains.

Whether working late into the night or taking breaks between designs, Noble finds solace in the rhythm of painting. Her artistry began at a young age, influenced by her mother’s love for scrapbooking, and has now blossomed into a growing business.
With each pair of sneakers, Noble delivers more than just a piece of footwear—she shares a personal connection with her clients.
Her collaboration with Rice, which included his favorite superhero Spider-Man and a cancer ribbon, symbolizes how Noble’s art is intertwined with meaningful personal stories.

As her following grows, Noble is even painting shoes for potential clients from the Golden State Warriors, further expanding her reach in the basketball and art worlds.
On the court, the 5-foot-11 guard continues to leave her mark, contributing key plays to No. 24 Cal’s success.
Off the court, her custom shoes are becoming a sought-after accessory, solidifying Jayda Noble as a rising star both in sports and as an artist.
