Jordyn Woods surprised her longtime boyfriend, NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns, with a present from his childhood. For his 30th birthday, Jordyn gifted Karl a fully restored replica of his late mother Jackie Towns’ beloved 1990s Isuzu Trooper, the car he grew up riding in before she passed away from COVID-19 in 2020.

And this wasn’t a quick, last-minute idea. This was months of planning, research, and pure love. According to reports, Jordyn quietly began the search last summer after a casual conversation turned into a major revelation.

She shared on Instagram: “During the summer, Karl asked me if I could drive any car for a day, which one would it be. I answered, and his response was, ‘I wouldn’t pick anything crazy, I just really loved my mom’s car she had when I was a kid.’”

That was all Jordyn needed to hear.

From there, she found the exact model, tracked it down across the country, had it shipped, restored, detailed, and brought back to life. All so Karl could reconnect with a piece of his childhood and his mother’s memory.

On his birthday, she handed him the keys.

Jordyn and Karl began dating shortly after his mother’s passing, a time when Karl was publicly grieving and navigating unimaginable loss. Over the past five years, they’ve built a relationship that has survived scrutiny, long-distance schedules, and the pressures that come with fame.

Today, Karl is thriving with the New York Knicks, averaging 21.8 points and 12.5 rebounds in what’s shaping up to be one of his strongest seasons yet. And Jordyn remains a steady presence courtside, cheering him on like always.
