Kamala Harris is ‘Handcuffed a Lot by [Biden] Administration’: Charlamagne tha God

by Xara Aziz

In a recent appearance on Fox & Friends, The Breakfast Club co-host Charlamagne tha God said he thinks Vice President Kamala Harris has been handcuffed. By who? And for what, you might ask?

By the Biden Administration, the South Carolina native thinks.

Charlamagne had recently stated that President Trump is a “threat to democracy,” and believes Harris should appear on Fox News to speak for herself rather than the outlet speaking for her.

“I’ve said it a million times. Vice President Kamala Harris should be coming on Fox. Like, they’re afraid of Fox, right? My whole thing is, go to Fox, have conversations with the personalities on Fox and talk to the Fox audience,” he said. “Very hard to misconstrue what somebody is saying when you’re actually watching them say it.”

The show’s host, Brian Kilmeade, then asked if Charlamagne had knew of Harris before she was tapped as Biden’s running mate in the 2020 presidential elections. He further asked if Harris was “one of the reasons you supported the Biden-Harris ticket” in 2020.

“She was the reason,” Charlamagne responded.

“And what happened?” the Fox host asked.

“I think that, you know, she’s handcuffed a lot by this administration,” Charlamagne retorted.

“Why do you think that? Why do you think she’s handcuffed?” Kilmeade asked.

“Because I know her, and I know what she stands for. And I know the things that she wants to do that she may not necessarily be in a position to do because she doesn’t want to overstep the president,” Charlamagne responded.

Kilmeade then questioned if Charlamagne believed Harris would make a good commander-in-chief.

“She wouldn’t be any different than any other Democrat. That’s why when I hear people say things like ‘We should be terrified of a Kamala Harris presidency, we should be scared of a Kamala Harris presidency.’ Why?” Charlamange said.

“You know why,” he added with a question. “Because she’s a woman of color.”

He further argued that the GOP did little to help Republican candidate Nikki Haley when she was running against Trump, largely because she wasn’t forceful enough in attacking Trump – her opponent at the time.

Voters on both sides of the aisle want another option besides Trump, Charlamagne said, adding that she may have garnered votes from both Republicans and Democrats because Americans desperately want something new.
