Mary J. Blige is finally bringing her story to Las Vegas. And for her fans, this moment feels long overdue.

On January 12, the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul announced her first-ever Las Vegas residency, Mary J. Blige: My Life, My Story, set to debut May 1, 2026, at Dolby Live inside Park MGM. The 10-night run will stretch across two legs through July, marking a historic milestone for an artist whose voice has soundtracked love, heartbreak, survival, and healing for more than three decades.

Mary J. Blige’s catalog is the backbone of modern R&B, and the show promises to trace that journey in real time. From raw early records that spoke directly to women navigating pain and perseverance, to the polished anthems that cemented her legacy, My Life, My Story is designed as both a celebration and a reflection. Fans can expect timeless vocals, sharp choreography, and moments that pull back the curtain on the woman behind the music.

“I’ve been so excited to announce this Vegas residency,” Mary J. Blige shared in a statement. “Creating a show like this has been something I’ve always wanted to do.” She described the residency as a gathering point for fans across cities, states, and countries, all coming together for a shared experience rooted in her life and her music. And yes, she teased surprises for those who have been riding with her from the beginning.

The residency begins May 1, with performances scheduled for May 1, 2, 6, 8, and 9. A second leg follows in July, with shows on July 10, 11, 15, 17, and 18. Each night starts at 8 p.m., giving fans an intimate yet high-energy Vegas experience inside one of the Strip’s premier venues.

The timing feels intentional. Mary J. Blige has nothing left to prove, yet she continues to evolve. With Grammy and Emmy wins, an Oscar nomination, a successful acting career, and decades of chart-defining music, this residency represents a new chapter for an artist who has already reshaped the industry.

Tickets go on sale January 16, with presales rolling out earlier in the week for Citi cardholders, fans, and MGM Rewards members. Demand is expected to be high.
