“Real Housewives of Potomac” newbie Mia Thorton is proving that she’s no pushover and did not waste time clapping back at Dr. Wendy Osefo, who raised her past life as a stripper.
During a recent episode of the show, Mia and her husband Gordon Thornton were honest about the fact that they met at a strip club. The couple said Mia was working as a bartender at the time, but a few of the ladies think she may have actually been working there as a dancer.
Dr. Wendy took to Twitter after the episode aired and fired a few shots Mia’s way.
“First you don’t know your age, then within 24 hours you go from her having a “good heart” to just a “pretty face,” then just say you’re a bartender when we all know you’re a stripper. So many lies…but go off sis,” she said.
“Strippers have way more fun than Slithers,” Mia clapped back.
“Let me slither on through then. No one shamed you for being a stripper. I’m calling you out for being a liar,” Dr. Wendy replied.
Mia then proudly flaunted her stripper past: “The freedom to be YOURSELF is a gift only YOU can give yourself + once you do, NO ONE can take it away,” she wrote, adding, “Retired since 2008.”
Sparks between the pair flew from the very first episode — but Mia raised eyebrows on Sunday night for other reasons.
While Gizelle Bryant and Karen Huger got into a back and forth and Dr. Wendy’s dinner party… Mia did not step in to defend Karen, her friend.
“Let me say something though, because I know you, I love you, I respect you, I have my own relationship with you,” Mia told Karen. “But I’m just meeting Gizelle and I’m a good judge of character and she has a beautiful heart.”
Oh, dear.
