Rihanna has certainly come a long way in her career. From selling platinum albums to being the first singer to have her own inclusive makeup line, the Barbados native has proven that she’s definitely a force to be reckoned with. The “Work” singer has accomplished so many things in the span of her 10 plus years that she can now add the honor of having a street named after her to her resume.
According to Nation News, Barbados will honor her with her own street named Rihanna Drive. The Ministry of Tourism stated “The Government of Barbados will on Independence Day, Thursday, November 30th, 2017 officially change the name of Westbury New Road located in St. Michael to Rihanna Drive in honor of Barbadian superstar Ms. Robyn Rihanna Fenty who grew up in Westbury New Road,”

2017 might just be one of the greatest years for the singer, not only did she have a successful cosmetic and clothing line she’s also helped cultivate DJ Khaled’s Wild Thoughts in the No.2 spot on the BillboardHot 100. Nov. 30th Rihanna will join Prime Minister Freundel Stuart for a two-hour ceremony that will include the unveiling of Rihanna Drive. She’s only destined for greatness and we couldn’t be any more excited for what’s in store for this superstar!
