Search Continues for Missing 30-Year-Old Mother, Ashley Elkins

by Gee NY

Authorities are actively searching for Ashley Elkins, a 30-year-old mother of two who has been missing since last week.

Elkins was reported missing by her family on Friday, Jan. 3, 2025, after failing to return home or respond to repeated phone calls and messages.

Her mother said the only communication she received was a brief text from Elkins’ phone stating she was “heading back from a beauty supply store.”

Family members revealed that Elkins’ phone last pinged at a Roseville address, which they identified as the residence of her ex-boyfriend.

Police have confirmed she was last seen on Thursday, Jan. 2, in southeast Warren before reportedly heading to Roseville later that day.

Elkins is described as a Black female, approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing around 150 pounds.

Investigators have been working diligently to trace her movements, interviewing friends and family, analyzing surveillance footage from local businesses, and employing digital forensics.

The Warren Police Department is collaborating with the Roseville Police Department and other agencies in their efforts to locate her.

“We’re doing everything we can to bring Ashley home safely,” a police spokesperson said.

Authorities urge anyone with information about Ashley Elkins’ disappearance or her possible whereabouts to contact Detective Darryl Bagiano of the Warren Police Department at 586-574-4784 or via email at dbagiano@warrenpd.org.
