Actor, producer and director Carl Gilliard joins relationship expert Coach Cass this week, where he opens up about his three marriages, past mistakes before going on to finding love at 60.
“Long story short… I am in my third marriage,” Gilliard shared. “I often joke about the fact that I’ve been married 33 years to three different ones. After the end of the second marriage, I was married again. But I’m so grateful, you know?”
He then explains how he met wife number three:
“It was almost like happenstance,” he explains. “I was dating already. I don’t let any grass grown underneath my feet, okay,” he admits.
“I’m not that ‘alone thing.’ I was with a date, and I was at this party and my wife walked up to me at the party. She said, “Hi, my name is Latanya Black. I’m your Facebook friend’.”
And the rest, as they say, is history…
