Tamera Mowry-Housley’s Niece Killed In Thousand Oaks Mass Shooting

Shine My Crown is deeply saddened to report that it has been confirmed: Actor and host The Real co-host Tamera Mowry-Housley’s niece Alaina Housley has been confirmed dead in the Thousand Oaks Bar shooting.

The shocking tragedy occurred at Borderline Bar and Grill in Thousand Oaks, California late late night, resulting in the gunman murdering 12 innocent people, including sheriff’s deputy Ron Helus, who exchanged fire with the gunman before dying from gunshot wounds at a local hospital.

Families have gone to social media to find their loved ones who may have been present at the scene. One of them was Alaina’s roomate,  Ashley. She tweeted:

The actress and her husband, Adam, shared a few words with the social media platform regarding the tragic news.

“Our hearts are broken,” the couple said in a statement. “We just learned that our Alaina was one of the victims of last night’s shooting at Borderline Bar in Thousand Oaks. Alaina was an incredible young woman with so much life ahead of her and we are devastated that her life was cut short in this manner.”

The gunman, identified by authorities as former Marine Ian David Long, has reportedly killed himself after carrying out the attack.
