Tiffany Haddish’s roadside woes continue after being arrested for the second time in two years over DUI charges.
The comedian was supposedly slumped behind her wheel in the middle of the road.
According to the Beverly Hills Police Department, the actress was arrested on Friday morning, November 24, and is currently facing a DUI charge after she reportedly fell asleep behind the wheel of a car.
The video of her arrest, which went viral, showed the TV and film star being taken away by police after she was purportedly found asleep behind the wheel of her vehicle.
Unfortunately, this is the second DUI for Tiffany Haddish in less than two years. In January 2022, the “Girl’s Trip” star was detained by Peachtree City police officers in Georgia under nearly the same circumstances (for a suspected DUI and improper stopping on a roadway).
On January 14, officers received a 911 call around 2:30 a.m. local time about a driver who had seemingly fallen asleep at the wheel on Highway 74.
“Subsequent investigation led to Ms. Tiffany Haddish being arrested for Driving Under the Influence. She was transported to the Fayette County Jail without incident,” the police told PEOPLE.
This time, Beverly Hills Police Department said they received a call around dawn, 5:45 a.m. local time, about a female in the middle of Beverly Drive while the vehicle was still running.
Before her arrest, Tiffany Haddish performed at The Laugh Factory in West Hollywood the previous night to celebrate its 43rd annual free Thanksgiving feast.
Although the 43-year-old actress is yet to respond to her latest arrest, she once joked about her first DUI arrest while guest hosting The Ellen DeGeneres Show in April 2022.
“Yes, I did get charged with a DUI, which stands for Dumb Unfortunate Incidents,” the comedian joked.
Is this a wake-up call for the comedy queen?!
