She may be the queen of perfecting poses and of course the āsmize,ā but supermodel turned mogul Tyra Banks has recently opened up about some things that seemed not so perfect for her. The Americaās Next Top Model host recently did an interview with People magazine that detailed her opening up about the cosmetic surgery she has got done earlier in her modeling career. Banks stated that she believes ānatural beauty is unfair.ā
According to Banks, the bones in her nose were āgrowing and itching,ā which kind of forced her to get work done on her nose so early. āI could breathe fine, but I added cosmetic surgery,ā she continued. āI admit it! Fake hair and I did my nose. I feel I have a responsibility, to tell the truth.ā
Further into the interview, the Americaās Got Talent host also talked about how sheās not a fan of the āpro-naturalā movement. The model states, āNatural beauty is unfair. I get really uncomfortable when women who are these natural beauties judge anybody who does anything to themselves.ā
āWe place a lot of emphasis on that,ā she explained to People. āAs a model, I needed makeup. I donāt think thereās anything wrong with that. It leveled my playing field. Gisele, you donāt need it? I do! And weāre both modeling for Victoriaās Secret.ā Banks further details, āIf you like your natural self, donāt worry about it,ā she says. āBut if you feel insecure about something ⦠I have a magic bag of beauty tricks to make you who you want to be. Permanent or temporary, I do not judge that.ā
