A Houston, Texas family is desperate for answers after a young woman vanished after witnessing a fatal shooting.

Deundrea L. Ford vanished on September 21st, with witnesses claiming she got into a van outside of Diva’s Bikini Sports Bar & Grill, where she was employed as a dancer.

Her family believes she was abducted and said she was last spotted getting into a white van with an unidentified man outside Diva’s Bikini Sports Bar, where she had worked for “only a few weeks.”

A man was reportedly behind the wheel, though he has not been identified. The 21-year-old has not been heard from since.

In May, Ford was asleep in a car driven by acquaintance Otis Parker.

About 4:30 a.m. on the day of the killing, the affidavit shows, Ford, was sleeping in the front passenger seat of a car driven by Parker when she said she heard gunshots as the vehicle pulled into an apartment complex in southeast Houston.

Sadly, he was murdered and Ford was nearly shot herself. The shooter was identified as Jamal Brown. His accomplices were listed as Mariah Green, Quitiana Taylor and Jarrell Wheeler.

The arrest affidavit says Ford might have been the target of the shooting that killed Parker. The crew planned to rob Ford of $1,500 that she and Taylor had made dancing during a Louisiana trip shortly before the ambush.

Brown has since been killed in a police-related murder. However, at least one of the suspects sent a message about Ford that read, “She ain’t safe in Houston…at all.”

Ford had a no-contact order against the surviving conspirators in the crime.

Detectives have not released additional information about the case since the department’s initial missing person alert, but authorities are asking anyone with information about Ford’s disappearance “to come forward.”
