Miyosha Weston, a trailblazing entrepreneur, has shattered barriers by becoming the first Black woman in history to own a creative daiquiri and margarita bar in Southeast Houston.

Her establishment, My Famous Daiq’s and Dogs, is proof of her resilience, dedication, and unwavering pursuit of excellence.

With 33 years of corporate experience and a passion for business ventures, Miyosha embarked on her groundbreaking journey in 2021.

Alongside establishing her innovative bar, she pursued further education, earning a Master’s in Human Resource Management.

This commitment to personal and professional growth underscores her ethos of investing in people and building a thriving team.

“I am firm about building a great team,” Miyosha asserts in an intervew with Black Business. “My education equips me to create an environment where everyone can thrive.”

My Famous Daiq’s and Dogs is not just a bar; it’s a celebration of Miyosha’s entrepreneurial vision. Offering handcrafted daiquiris, margaritas, and a Gourmet Chili Hotdog stand, the establishment promises a unique blend of flavors and experiences for the community to enjoy.
