She may be the queen of perfecting poses and of course the âsmize,â but supermodel turned mogul Tyra Banks has recently opened up about some things that seemed not so perfect for her. The Americaâs Next Top Model host recently did an interview with People magazine that detailed her opening up about the cosmetic surgery she has got done earlier in her modeling career. Banks stated that she believes ânatural beauty is unfair.â
According to Banks, the bones in her nose were âgrowing and itching,â which kind of forced her to get work done on her nose so early. âI could breathe fine, but I added cosmetic surgery,â she continued. âI admit it! Fake hair and I did my nose. I feel I have a responsibility, to tell the truth.â
Further into the interview, the Americaâs Got Talent host also talked about how sheâs not a fan of the âpro-naturalâ movement. The model states, âNatural beauty is unfair. I get really uncomfortable when women who are these natural beauties judge anybody who does anything to themselves.â
âWe place a lot of emphasis on that,â she explained to People. âAs a model, I needed makeup. I donât think thereâs anything wrong with that. It leveled my playing field. Gisele, you donât need it? I do! And weâre both modeling for Victoriaâs Secret.â Banks further details, âIf you like your natural self, donât worry about it,â she says. âBut if you feel insecure about something ⊠I have a magic bag of beauty tricks to make you who you want to be. Permanent or temporary, I do not judge that.â
