Rihanna has set her sights on rising rap sensation GloRilla as the ideal artist to create the perfect theme song for her iconic lingerie brand, Savage X Fenty.

This isn’t the first time Rihanna has praised GloRilla. Back in June, Rihanna uploaded a clip of her rapping along to the rapper’s song “TGIF.”

The music industry went haywire after Rihanna posted a video of herself dancing to GloRilla’s hit song “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” on her Instagram story, especially when the business mogul was not known to endorse a lot of talents.

As Riri danced for a perplexed Rocky, who kept a straight face throughout the performance, she sang lyrics from Glo’s song, “I ain’t got no n*gga and no n*gga ain’t got me.” The mother of two then burst out laughing and tossed her coat off.

In July, Rihanna slid into GloRilla’s direct messages to ask when she would drop her debut studio album.

On Tuesday (July 2), the 24-year-old rapper shared an Instagram carousel of images from her BET after party, soundtracked by “TGIF.” The final image was a DM from Rihanna, who said, “You got all summer, sis! I know dis wild hypocritical, but when the album drop?”

And now, GloRilla has received a third major co-sign from Rihanna, who says she may be interested in working with the rapper in the future.

On October 10, Rihanna celebrated Savage X Fenty’s new line debut at Nordstrom stores with a commemorative event at Nordstrom Century City in Los Angeles, California.

While chatting with the press, Rihanna was ambushed with some questions regarding Savage X Fenty and who she would want to sing a theme song for the popular lingerie brand.

During the Q&A session, Rihanna was asked, “If there was a Savage X Fenty theme song, who would you want to sing it?” After giving it some thought, the Fenty mogul responded with one name—GloRilla.

The singer explained her choice, praising the young rapper’s authenticity and groundedness. “To see a young lady who’s still grounded in who she is and where she came from, I love that,” Rihanna said.

The potential collaboration with Rihanna sent GloRilla into a frenzy. The rapper took to her Instagram to show her gratitude for the thoughtful gesture.

Could GloRilla’s next major project feature on Savage X Fenty’s next runway show? We will just have to wait and see!
