Singer-songwriter Tiffany Red has publicly accused Chloe Bailey of using songs on her “Trouble In Paradise” album without proper credit or payment to the original writer.

2025 is off to a dramatic start for Chloe Bailey, as she finds herself at the center of a legal storm over alleged unpaid songwriting contributions on her Trouble In Paradise album. Singer-songwriter and advocate Tiffany Red has used social media to accuse the Atlanta-born artist, claiming her team has released songs without obtaining the necessary knowledge or permission from one of the songwriters involved.

Last week, Tiffany shared a series of explosive posts alleging that a songwriter named Forest wasn’t compensated for his contributions to three tracks on Chloe’s sophomore album, which dropped on August 9, 2024. According to Tiffany, Forest was blindsided when he discovered his work had been included on the album.

“The songwriter who wrote this song wrote three songs on @chloebailey’s album Trouble In Paradise,” Tiffany wrote in her post. “These songs were released without the writer’s knowledge or consent, and he only discovered their inclusion in the album after it was released.”

Tiffany further explained that Forest had initially written two of the three tracks for another artist, only for the producer, BONGO ByTheWay, to place them on Chloe’s album without informing him. Tiffany alleged that Forest’s attorney has been working tirelessly to resolve the issue amicably, but efforts to address the situation with Chloe’s team, including her label Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records, have been unsuccessful.

“He was not paid, the splits are still incomplete, and this album came out in August of 2024! The songwriter’s attorney has done all she can to resolve this situation amicably. This is unacceptable, @parkwood and @columbiarecords. Please do better and make this situation right,” Tiffany continued in her post.

The controversy took a legal turn when Tiffany revealed during an Instagram Live session on January 7 that discussions with Chloe’s attorney had broken down. She noted that the case would now be resolved in court, signaling that this dispute is far from over.

As of now, Chloe Bailey has not publicly addressed the allegations. The 25-year-old singer has been enjoying a wave of success following the release of Trouble In Paradise, the album under contention.
