On Thursday, the singer revealed that she and her children had lost their home to a fire. “My children’s home is gone,” she stated, mentioning her 16-year-old daughter, Namiko, from her previous relationship with O’Ryan, and her 2-year-old son, Noah, with her longtime partner, Big Sean.
“It burned down completely, along with all our belongings. Lord have mercy.”
According to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, known as Cal Fire, the Palisades Fire in Los Angeles has expanded to nearly 27 square miles. Meanwhile, the Eaton Fire has claimed the lives of five individuals, consumed over 16 square miles, and damaged almost 1,000 structures. These wildfires have displaced 100,000 residents. Additionally, more than 350,000 energy customers are currently without power, affecting residents in Los Angeles County, which is the most populated county in the nation.
Jhene Aiko has shared footage of what remains of her once-cozy home in a new update. The video reveals a heartbreaking scene of charred rubble, collapsed beams, and scorched brick walls—the remnants of a life built with love and care.
