Fans of the popular HBO series Euphoria will be delighted to hear that the show will be returning with two special episodes ahead of season 2.
Emmy Award-winning actress, Zendaya, shared a teaser for the first of the two episodes via her Instagram, “We really missed them. Two special Euphoria episodes coming soon. First one December 6th on @hbo.”
According to Variety, the first episode, “Trouble Don’t Last Always,” will air December 6th on HBO before streaming on HBO Max.
No title or release date for the second episode has been announced.
Last month, Zendaya made history at the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards by becoming the youngest person ever to win the Emmy for outstanding lead actress in a drama series.
Zendaya nabbed the award for her performance as recovering drug addict Rue Bennett in Euphoria.
“Thank you to all of the other incredible women in this category,” Zendaya said as she accepted the award during the virtual ceremony. “I admire you so much.
“I know this feels like a really weird time to be celebrating,” she said at the virtual ceremony. “But I just want to say there is hope in the young people out there — I know that our TV show doesn’t always feel like a great example of that – but there is hope in our young people and I just want to say to all my peers out there doing the work in the streets, ‘I see you, I admire you, I thank you.'”
