Jordyn Woodsâ trademark curves have earned her a coveted spot on many celebrity âwish lists,â but in a recent interview, she spoke about the downside to having a curvy figure.
She says plush curves means that she is overly objectified.
âBeing a curvy girl, [things are] gonna look more extra or more centralized because of my body,â Woods shared with Complex. âSo I can wear a tank top and it could be low cut. It could be hot outside, but because I have boobs and whatever, itâs going to look more [like] âoh, sheâs tryingâ or âsheâs sexual.â ⌠I canât help my body.â
Woods has always taken pride in being full-figured, but often, followers hop into the comments section on her social media posts to complain about her seemingly provocative outfits.
She has no plans to succumb to the hate.
âIâm like, âThis is the youngest I will ever be. So Iâm just going to own it.â And one day, Iâm going to have a family and be a mom and most likely not be posting like this. And if I do, then thatâs what I want to do. But I feel like weâre young. You live in the moment,â she said.
Despite her more laid-back approach to the negative attention, Woods says she does not tolerate the unwarranted commentary and innuendos towards her younger sister.
âI have a 14-year-old sister who looks super grown and I did not look like that at her age,â she shared. âAnd I see grown men always commenting on her, how old she is. And thatâs when Iâm like, OK, Iâm going to respond. When it comes to me, Iâm like more laid back. But when it comes to my family, Iâm like, no, I have to say something. So itâs just the world we live in now, I guess. And itâs, itâs unfortunate, but you just gotta raise your sons to be a king.â
