Rapper Cardi B is escalating her response to a reported $70,000 credit card fraud case, issuing a sharp warning to the individuals she claims are responsible: they may be safer turning themselves in before she tracks them down herself.
In a viral Instagram Live, Cardi B did not hold back as she described the alleged theft and the suspects’ actions, stressing that consequences are coming quickly.
“You’re lucky if the police get to you first,” she said, suggesting that those involved should be more concerned about what happens before law enforcement intervenes.

According to the artist, the situation began roughly two weeks ago when her American Express card went missing. Because the account is linked directly to her phone, she said she received immediate alerts as transactions were made—starting with a high-value purchase at Saks Fifth Avenue.
Moments later, another large charge appeared from an Apple Store, confirming for her that the activity was fraudulent. Her accountant, who also receives transaction notifications, contacted her almost instantly, and the card was shut down soon after.
Cardi B claims that she and her team moved quickly to contact the stores involved and gather evidence, including surveillance footage. She also alleged that the suspects attempted to access funds at Chase Bank locations, where additional images were captured.
In the video, she went as far as describing the individuals’ appearances and made it clear she believes their identities are only a matter of time.
Her warning signals a more personal edge to the situation, as she stressed that interfering with her finances is something she takes seriously.
Law enforcement has not yet announced arrests, but an investigation is ongoing. Meanwhile, Cardi B’s message to the alleged perpetrators remains direct: accountability is coming—one way or another.
