Accolade announced this week that Cindy R. Kent, who is currently the executive vice president and president of senior living of Brookdale Senior Living and former president and general manager of the 3M Infection Prevention Division, is joining its board of directors, effective immediately.

Brookdale Senior Living is America’s largest senior living company with 700+ facilities across the U.S. and Kent oversees day-to-day operations of senior living with responsibility for revenue and profitability growth.

Kent holds an MBA in marketing and a Master of Divinity she gained from Vanderbilt University. She also has a BS in industrial engineering and management sciences from Northwestern University, earned a certification in Strategic Finance from the Harvard Business School and is Six Sigma green belt trained.
Last year she was named one of Savoy Magazine’s “Most Influential Black Executives in Corporate America,” 2020.
