Angela White and Derrick Milano are making waves with their love-first approach to marriage. The couple recently revealed that they’ve decided not to sign a prenuptial agreement, a decision that’s sparked conversation among the fanbase.

Angela White and Derrick Milano are preparing to tie the knot after he proposed to the 36-year-old media figure, previously known as Blac Chyna, during a performance at Howard University’s 100th Homecoming event on Friday, October 18.

Milano shared a video of the moment on his Instagram page and a sweet message to his new fiancé. In the clip, Milano serenaded White with Mario’s song “Let Me Love You” in front of the crowd.

“Angela Renee White, I can go on and on about how much you mean the world to me & never get tired of it,” Milano wrote. “I’ve found so much peace since we’ve met. & GOD put us in each other’s lives for a reason & for a purpose. Every day with you feels everlasting & it is such a blessing to call you my fiancée. I love you so much!”

Speaking candidly, Derrick Milano shared his perspective on getting a prenup, saying, “Well, you know what? I’m not against it or opposed to it. I mean, she has a lot of stuff already. Her cars, that’s hers. She has her house, that’s hers. I have my stuff, that’s mine. But I’m not one of those people to go like, ‘Oh, you need to do one.'”

Equally confident in their decision, Angela White chimed in with a bold statement: “That’s it. It won’t be a prenup because we’re not getting divorced. That’s it.”

The Dream entrepreneur and model opened up about how this relationship feels different from her past experiences. “Like in this relationship, it’s not a competition,” Angela White explained. “And I’ve been in relationships where it was as though it was a competition. But it’s never been like that. Because there are men that want to compete with you in a relationship, and it’s like wild. It’s like I thought it was supposed to be me and you against them.”

Social media reacted quickly, with one fan tweeting, “Prenups should be mandatory for both sides. Just like a paternity test. Protect yourself and your assets.” Another added, “Yall ain’t learned from Mary J Blige?”
