In an emotional moment during her Way Up radio show, Angela Yee shared the heartbreaking news of her older brother’s sudden passing at just 51 years old. The cause? An aneurysm, which was both unexpected and profoundly shocking for the family.
Angela Yee recounted how her mother had grown concerned when her brother stopped responding to messages, which was completely out of character for him. Trusting her instincts, she decided to check on him at home, and what she discovered was that he had passed away alone.
Before his death, Yee revealed that her brother had been experiencing severe headaches. Like many of us might do, he tried to soldier on, taking medication and pushing through the discomfort, believing it would eventually pass. But what he thought was just a bad headache ended up being a sign of a significant medical emergency.
“When you feel pain like that, and it feels out of the ordinary, it is important to see a doctor. You never know what could happen.” Angela Yee admitted that she, too, might have ignored such symptoms, opting to downplay them and carry on as usual.
The aftermath of her brother’s death brought another set of challenges. Angela Yee found herself faced with tough decisions, unsure of what he would have wanted, compounded by a lack of prior conversations and clear plans.
Prayers continue to pour in for Angela Yee and her family as listeners take her words to heart.
