Singer Ari Lennox has revealed that she is facing financial difficulties and is determined to resolve her debt. During a session with her fans, Lennox candidly discussed her situation, admitting that she is willing to “do strange things” to break even.

The “Pressure” singer has recently shared many truths with fans, including her desire to see positive change in her life. As you may recall, Lennox made headlines in July last year when she announced her seven-month sobriety.

Lennox was vulnerable while discussing her decision to abstain from alcohol, which she admitted stemmed from her arrest in Amsterdam in 2021.

Speaking to fans on Instagram Live on Tuesday (August 27), the Dreamville singer revealed that she is in debt for an undisclosed amount, but she has a plan.

“I’m just gonna tell y’all my business,” Lennox shared. “I need to pay this IRS. The strange things I’m finna do for change, just so I can just break even. I’m gonna go crazy, and then we start anew.”

“Shea Butter Baby” singer expressed her desire to start anew, save money, and eventually retire.

“And then we start paying stuff off, and then we start saving, and then we retire! That is the muthaf*cking goal!”

When a fan joked that she should record a “diss album” about the IRS was coming soon, Lennox made it clear that she has no problems with the government agency.

“Absolutely not….They have been gentle with me and didn’t take anything of mine. So, I will not be starting a beef with them, we do not have no beef, I am paying them back. Okay? I am paying them and I’m finna be caught up.”
